  Hambletonian hopefuls Big Chocolate, Vic Smith and Guccio all visited the winner’s circle in the first round of New Jersey Sire Stakes action for 3-year-old trotters on Friday night at the Meadowlands Racetrack.    Big Chocolate, with David Miller at the lines, got up by a head over Market Share to win the fastest colts’ division in 1:54.3.  The Homer Hochstetler trainee is now two-for-two... Meadowlands Hosts USO Fundraiser On Armed Forces Day

Meadowlands Racetrack encourages fans to support America’s troops and their families at its first USO Night at the Races on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 19.    Every $2 admission fee for live racing that night will be donated to the USO.  A concert by the Liberty Bells is the highlight of the evening.  Military vehicles will be on display in Paddock Park and servicemen and women have been invit...
